In celebration of Veterans Day, GreyStone Power hosted its 4th Annual Military Service Recognition Breakfast on November 11. Employees who have served in the Armed Forces were honored for their service.
Guest speaker and local attorney, Ken Bernard served his country with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate General (JAG), where he attained the rank of Captain during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. His father served in Vietnam and his grandfather served in World War II. Bernard challenged veterans in attendance to share their stories with the young people in their lives so that others will understand why they have the freedom that they do.
GreyStone Power is known for its support of those who serve. As a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity’s Veterans Park, a neighborhood of homes for local veterans in need, GreyStone employees look forward to participating again in the project in the Fall of 2020.
