On November 12th, Missing In America Project – Georgia inurned the cremated remains of seven World War II veterans who served in the US Army and the US Navy with full military honors at Georgia National Cemetery. Following a ceremony held at Roswell Funeral Home, the procession traveled westbound on GA-92 through the city of Woodstock and up Interstate 575 to arrive at Georgia National Cemetery.
Hundreds of citizens and first responders lined GA-92 and Interstate 575 overpasses to honor these deserving WWII veterans.
